A Glasgow School cabinet designed by George Logan and made by Wylie and Lochhead. A exhibition bedroom suite designed by George Logan for the Wylie and Lochhead Pavilion Exhibition of 1901 also has Harebells and little carved butterflies.
The cabinet has a pierced and carved stylised butterfly to the centre back flanked by stylised floral carved details to the upper front ends. The lead glass panels depicting three pure white plump Doves in flight with Harebells growing from the lower sections probably made by Macullocks who made glass for Wylie and Lochhead.
Circa 1901.
