An Arts and Crafts bureau bookcase in the Glasgow Style by Harris Lebus design model 156 with display area to the top, subtly shaped cornice with 3 shaped supports to the centre and a bookshelf below with slatted sides. An open writing area with pigeon holes to the back and a central drawer below with 2 further bookshelves below and wonderful stylised floral cut-outs to the sides.
Height 61", Width 37 1/2", Depth 16 1/2". Circa 1900.

Superb Oak Arts and Crafts hallstand, with wonderful copper stylised panels to the top cupboard doors in the style of C R Mackintosh, attributed to EA Taylor. This hallstand is depicted in the Wylie and Lochhead catalogue of 1901, (last two images).

A Glasgow School bookcase the design attributed to EA Taylor and made by Wylie and Lochhead with extended capped tops and semi-circular top centred with an inlaid pewter heart and open display area with 2 glazed doors with subtle arched details to the tops opening to reveal 3 adjustable shelves and 2 further smaller cupboards below with wonderful Glasgow sweep to the base and on sledge feet.
