Read here about the New extension to the property

The first picture shows the 1970's extension to the rear of The Old Post Office before we started work and the following pictures show the progress in stages as it was being built, from replacing the old unsympathetic windows on the ground floor and the new first floor with sash windows copied from the originals in the rest of the building.
The extension has created a forth maisonette apartment with two further bedrooms on the first floor looking out to the adjacent 13th Century flint church, one with an ensuite mosiac tiled shower. The staircase has pine varnished floors and I have fitted sky blue glass building bricks which allows further light into the staircase and creates a wonderful feature within the new kitchen. The kitchen diner is large and very spacious with slate tiled floor with a built in cupboard below the stairs, designer radiators and feature circular lighting designs. The ground floor bathroom has been refurbished incorporating an original Victorian roll top bath and period style pedestal sink with period chrome fittings and a chrome towel radiator, retaining the original Victorian tiled walls and a bespoke Italian marble floor. The hallways have had the original pine floors sanded and varnished. The lounge has an original decorative cast iron fireplace and we have made period style concertina window shutters with upper and lower openers for extra warmth and privacy. The sliding sash windows have been replaced but copied from the originals and fitted with double glazed units to comply with grade two listed building requirements and security locks installed. The lounge opens into a 14' double glazed Victorian style conservatory.
To the outside we laid original Victorian reclaimed period tiles which continue into the inner reception area creating a stunning patio to the private garden enclosure with raised beds and extensive planting retaining a mature cherry blossom tree to the rear of the property.
Incorporated into the build was a new utility room on the ground floor to the left which services the upper apartments. All the sash windows to the ground floor have been replaced with new like for like original style sliding sashes and fitted with double glazed units.
