A super quality crafts man-made English Arts and Crafts style oak court cupboard with a flat top making a useful display area, a projecting cornice with an array of shaped supports, a central pair of panelled doors made exclusively from English Walnut, with decorative hand-made applied hinges and a blacksmith's made wrought iron latch handle, opening to reveal an original ebonised interior with generous full-length storage shelves inside. Chunky square legs with soft molded corners terminating with bird beak end details, all united by a lower open shelf.
Indestructible with beautiful grain to the quarter-sawn oak, choice woods, ebonized interior that's something.
Make a great bar.

An Arts and Crafts oak washstand made Harris Lebus and retailed by Liberty and Co (stamped Liberty on top of door) with stunning tiled back the centre floral tile flanked by two further tiles with opposite crescent moons above a hilly landscape. there are two small upper display shelves and a black marble top with two cupboards below flanked by towel rails to each end on square turned legs.

A rare Liberty and Co Arts and Crafts oak sideboard designed by Leonard Wyburd. With a hand formed copper motto to the top which reads :- 'READ NOT TO BELIEVE and TAKE FOR GRANTED BUT TO WEIGH and CONSIDER'. The most fantastic metalwork to the lower left hand door and stylised leaded glass to the upper right hand door with pierced arches to the upper centre section, an array of shelves for books or display with the lowest shelf breaking forward.
Height 75", Width 72", Depth at the base 14", Depth at the top shelf 10". Circa 1895.

A fabulous Liberty and Co Arts and Crafts oak sideboard designed by Leonard Wyburd with an inlaid Boars head on a plate using inlays of Walnut, Ebony, Pewter and Ivory, flanked by a pair of green bulls eye glass doors with three pewter flower buds beside and extended plinths below. A step down to a generous central serving area, a pair of large cupboards to the lower left hand side and a single drawer to the right with a further cupboard below, the door with a wine claret jug and glasses inlaid with pewter and a very early form of plastic, the only time I have seen early plastic inlaid into a piece of furniture was on a piece designed by C.R.Mackintosh. The metalwork with shaped pull style handles with heart shaped escutcheons.
