An Arts and Crafts oak treble wardrobe by Shapland and Petter with central mirrored door flanked by two further doors with stylised floral carvings to the top and below the flaring cornice. The doors opening to reveal double hanging space to each side with an array of brass hooks to the back and sides with two large drawers to the base.

A Shapland and Petter Oak bedroom pair with matching double bed.
Although the bed is made from Mahogany and was a completely different colour we have stripped and refinished it to the same colour as the wardrobe and dressing table which you can see in the images below.
The treble wardrobe with stylised Glasgow Rose copper panels and stylised copper hinges.
The dressing table with central bevelled mirror flanked by elongated uprights with capped tops and stylised Glasgow rose copper panels.
Wardrobe Height 211cm high, Width 200cm wide, Depth 62cm; dressing table Height 164.5cm, Width 122cm. Circa 1900.

An Arts and Crafts Oak treble wardrobe by Shapland and Petter in the Glasgow Style, flaring cornice with tremendous stylised floral copper panel just below the cornice that has a subtle shaped bracket just above which actually just slides down into place before one puts the cornice on, conforming stylised floral copper panel's to each side door which both break forward from the central door giving the piece its truly amazing form with bevelled mirror opening to reveal upper cubby hole with drawers below with superb hand formed copper handles and hinges. Another example typical of SandP superior design and quality.

Shapland and Petter. An Arts and Crafts oak dressing table with Mother of Pearl and fruitwood stylised floral inlays. The bow front and central bow front drawer with three drawers to the left and a single drawer above a cupboard to the right. With stylised cut-out below the mirror and below the central drawer.

A stunning Shapland and Petter Oak treble wardrobe and matching chest-of-drawers/cupboard. The wardrobe with flaring cornice and central upper cupboard with two bow fronted drawers below flanked by a pair of doors with arched bevelled mirrors opening to reveal full hanging length to the left and to the right hand side which has a small shelf to the top and further hanging space below and three shelves to the centre cupboard and a pair of wider drawers to the base, the whole on shaped base with capped feet. Both pieces inlaid with fantastic Glasgow Roses with Abalone inlaid hearts and floral details throughout.
Wardrobe measures Height 83", Width of Cornice 66 1/2", Depth Cornice 24 1/2",
Chest Of Drawers/Cupboard measures Height 35 1/2", Width 48", Depth 23". Circa 1900.
