A superb quality three piece bedroom suite, made by Ogdens of Manchester, maker of high quality decorative furniture. The stylised floral painted designs are attributed to Dr Christopher Dresser.
Consisting of a treble wardrobe a large white marbled top kneehole washstand/dressing table and a single bedside cabinet.

WL 64
A rare Gothic Revival Walnut and Amboyna bedroom suite designed by Bruce Talbert and made by Gillows of Lancaster consisting of a treble wardrobe, 2 x 3'6" double beds and 2 x matching bedside cupboards. The treble wardrobe with central carved rosette to the top flanked by two carved panels depicting 16 carved floret's with further carved rosettes to the side doors and to the lower parts each carved with a different floret on Ebonised and Gilt backgrounds. The central panels of Amboyna framed with ebonised strips and further smaller rosettes to each corner, the front sides with further floret's. The whole stood on turn feet, the doors opening to reveal hanging space to the left hand side and to the right double size drawers with double linen slides above. The beds and bedside cabinets with conforming identical details.
Wardrobe Height 82 1/2" 208cm, Width of cornice 81 1/2" 208cm, Depth of cornice 24".
Beds Height of head board 51", Height of foot board 32", Width 41" 124cm.
Bedside cupboards Height 35" 85cm, Width 15" 35cm, Depth 15" 35cm. Circa 1880's.

A good Arts and Crafts oak treble linen press attributed to Morris and Co of superior quality with cross banded inlays around the doors and drawers and superb hand formed copper metalwork by Richard Rathbone. The last three images showing his work in The Studio.

A Lambs of Manchester compactum style wardrobe with castellated cornice and twin panelled doors opening to reveal hanging space to the left and four open slides with two smaller drawers to the right and two large drawers to the lower section on a plinth style base with brass 'T' bar handles. Lambs were amongst the top manufacturers of artistic furniture of the late Victorian period and produced some of the very best in design and quality.
Height 88", Width of cornice 56", Depth of cornice 23".
Internal measurements of the hanging space to the left hand side are Depth 19" and Width 24 1/2". Circa 1880.

An Aesthetic Movement Burr Pine Bedroom suite with stylised floral stencil details made by Dyer and Watts of Islington who exhibited a similar wardrobe at The Paris Exhibition of 1867 which was purchased by The Empress of France.
Consisting of a treble wardrobe, dressing table, washstand, bedside cupboard and a towel rail. The washstand with tiled back, the tiles depicting birds and stylised flowers probably by Worcester with matching bedside cupboard, towel rail and a pair of bedroom chairs (not shown).

Dressing Table Height 66 1/2", Width 48", Depth 22".
Washstand, Height 43", Width 48", Depth 22".
Bedside cupboard Height 30 1/2", Width 15", Depth 14".
